Ingredients

1 cup hot water

1 tbsp fresh ginger (or 1 tsp ginger powder)

1 tsp dried peppermint leaves or 1 peppermint tea bag

1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

12 tsp stevia or monk fruit (optional)

Pinch of turmeric (optional)


Instructions

1. Boil 1 cup of water.

2. Grate or slice the fresh ginger.

3. Place ginger and peppermint into a cup or infuser.

4. Add lemon juice, turmeric, or sweetener if using.

5. Pour hot water over the ingredients and steep for 5–10 minutes.

6. Strain if needed and sip warm.

Notes
