Description

This fresh strawberry margarita recipe blends real fruit, lime, and tequila for a vibrant cocktail you can serve frozen or on the rocks.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries
  • 2 oz Blanco or Reposado tequila
  • 1 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Optional: 1–2 tsp honey or sugar
  • Salt for rim (optional)
  • Ice (if using fresh strawberries)

Instructions

1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip into salt.

2. Add strawberries, tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice to a blender.

3. If using fresh strawberries, add a handful of ice. Blend until smooth.

4. Taste and adjust sweetness with honey or sugar if needed. Blend again.

5. Pour into the glass. For on the rocks, fill the glass with ice first.

6. Garnish with a strawberry or lime slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use frozen strawberries for a thick, slushy texture.
  • Try agave, honey, or monk fruit as natural sweeteners.
  • Add sparkling water for a lighter, fizzy twist.
  • For a skinny version, skip sweetener and salt.
